I have heard and have also felt that the Common Sense is not available with the Common Men or Women.
The way we behave, we act tells a lot about our personality and especially when we are in a professional field, like in Flying we got to be careful about our every move.
We can be unaware of it, but our every act might be noted and certain conclusions about our personality and psychological analysis can be made on their basis.
The way we hand over a paper or a letter tells a lot about us, how, than be ready to be shocked.
The readable side of the paper should be towards the receiver side, so that he does not have to flip the paper for reading it.
Some people don’t bother about the side of the paper while presenting the papers for evaluation and reading.
Think of it as if the receiver is busy with both of his hands occupied and he wants to read the paper, if you have not held the paper so as to face his side, how will he be able to read the letter.
The way you hand over a knife also tells a lot about you, the knife should be handed over in a way so that the receiver would have the knife grip on his side to hold it, but here be careful while handing over the knife, since we know every knife has a sharp side and a plain side, (Except for some Army knives having sharpness on both sides) the sharp side of the knife should be towards the outer side of your grip, in other words the plain side shape of the knife should be facing your palm.
Think of this as if the receiver snatches the knife from your hand and the knife passes through rubbing your palm, if it is a sharp side, it will cause a cut, but if it is a plain side the knife will pass through without causing any damage.
The best way to hold a knife is to hold it at the end of the handle while the grip should point towards the receiver and the sharp edge side of the knife should be at outer side of your palm.
The Examiner might ask you to hand over a glass of water, to check your mental ability, the glass should be held and presented to the receiver so that he can hold the glass with his right hand, and be able to drink the water without shifting his hand.
The best way is to present it by holding from the bottom, so that he has a whole area of the glass to make a grip on the glass, or if the glass is provided with the handle, the handle should of course be towards the receiver’s side.
