A Pilot is Born

I was walking, all alone in a dense forest and it was around midnight and I had to cross the Forest to reach my abode, since I had a early morning departure for my Flight back to my Country.

I had no option of turning back, and with dense forest all around me, my only best bet was to keep walking on the dimly visible path in the middle of the walkway, probably because of pathway created due movement of people and vehicles in the forest during the day time, when the footsteps would be more frequent.

It was more than 15 minutes since I was walking in this dense jungle since I had hear any other sounds than, strong winds blowing and occasional cricket, and insects.

it was difficult to believe one could hear them so clearly in the middle of the night, it was like they were playing an orchestra of their own, which only they could understand within themselves.

It took me another 45 minutes of patience and all my brave emotions to keep myself walking together with my heart pouncing at its optimum rate, before I could see a street light and another an hour and a half before I could reach my hotel.

It was 02 30 when I got to my room, and removed my shoes and clothes to get into the bathtub to have a shower.

After a quick shower I put on my new clothes to retire for the night, and sat on the bed thinking of next 4 hours sleep that I could afford before I had to get ready for the flight that I was going to operate as a Commander back to India.

I had a feeling that a Pilot is not born once, we give birth to ourselves every day and let us grow before the same dies, every few hours.

I could see that today with the courage and dedication once again A Pilot is Born Today.
